If you buy your spices in bulk, you can easily organize them with some babyfood jars, and chalkboard paint.

Ice Carving Champions Announced

The St. Paul Winter Carnival Ice Carving Champions were announced on Sunday night and boy were there carvings fantastic.

“According to carnival spokeswoman Molly Mulvehill Steinke, the sculptures were judged on these criteria: creativity and originality, technical difficulty, initial impact, completeness of design, attention to detail, use of ice, three-dimensional qualities, finishing and site cleanup.”

I also have to tell you about a visit to my ever creative parent’s home this weekend. When I arrived Saturday for a visit mom had the coffee pot on and placed a plate of yummy looking bread on the table. I took a bite and tasted walnuts and cinnamon and noticed a faint green hue as well as a lovely moistness…She explained that she had a bunch of leftover lettuce and didn’t want to waste it so she asked dad to google a recipe and Viola!
